David Harsh lives and works on San Juan Island in Washington State.  In creating his large figure drawings, he uses similar materials that first became available in Europe during the Renaissance and have been in constant use in the 500 years since: red chalk on heavy weight paper.   David’s compositions explore his view of the Human Condition and our relationships to the built environment.
